This renovation reconfigured an existing stone rambler, which the Owner inherited from her grandparents. We preserved key elements, such as the hand laid rock walls which her grandfather installed, while updating and renovating the home to function for modern family living. A new roof and entry provide a modern counterpoint to the existing brick and rock, while the interior was completed reconfigured to create a large entertaining space that allows for seamless connections between the living room, dining room and kitchen. An existing carport was converted to a properly enclosed garage, and above, we added a new game room. At the rear of the home, and existing sunroom was joined to the adjacent master bathroom to create a larger retreat complete with a sun-filled shower room and soaking tub.
