Fortuna Avenue Residence

The owners of this Mid-Century Modern home were interested in improving the existing front entrance and connecting all of the outdoor decks and patios around the house.  The solution was to create a new brick screen wall in line with the existing garage.  New concrete pads and a patio below mature Aspens lead from the upper driveway to an enclosed entry with coat hooks, bench, and shoe storage.  A new semi-enclosed front deck wraps around to connect with the existing side deck.  Below this is gated outdoor storage for bikes and gear.  A rear extension to the side deck provides a landing for stairs down to the rear covered patio.
