Hidden from street view, this addition addresses functional issues for the client while creating a true center to the home. This addition provided the owner with a designated dining space and pantry area while improving access to the basement and backyard. By re-orienting the stairway, the relationship of the upstairs, downstairs and the backyard is transformed; now seamlessly connected, one flows through the house with ease, encouraging movement and use.
